On July 18, 2023, a regular meeting of the council of the platform SLOGA, a platform of Slovenian non-governmental organizations active in the field of UN Sustainable Development Goals, international development cooperation, global learning and humanitarian aid, took place.
At the meeting, Robin Dewa, president of Društvo Bodi svetloba, was elected vice-president of the SLOGA council. At the session, among other things, there was also a discussion about strategies for engaging the SLOGA platform in international networks and about new training for member organizations. The SLOGA platform is a member of many European and international networks, including Concord Europe, a European confederation of development NGOs working in the field of Sustainable Development Goals and international development cooperation.
At the same time, Društvo Bodi svetloba is also a member of the Global Call To Action Against Poverty (GCAP) network, which is also active in the field of Sustainable Development Goals, especially in the countries of the Global South.
